Registration: A one time registration fee of $25 will due upon registering for classes. Following that, your first tuition withdrawal will be made on the 1st of every month (August – May). A $25 late fee will be applied to accounts that are more than 10 days past due. If tuition is 30 days or more past due, your child will not be allowed to attend classes until your account is paid in full. Tuition is based upon two semesters of instruction that will run the beginning of August through the end of May. This means that you will pay the same tuition whether your child’s class meets five times in a long month or two times in a holiday affected month. All accounts must have a valid credit card on file. To avoid late fees we recommend having your account set up for automatic payments. Automatic tuition payments are processed between the 1st and 3rd of each month. Tuition is due by the 10th.

Costumes: Costumes for our Spring Showcase will be added to your tuition for the month of November. The Spring Showcase Costume Recital Fee is $80. Please note that not all acro and technique classes will participate in the Spring Showcase.

Studio Policies

Schedule Changes: Please notify the studio of any class schedule changes or new contact (address/phone/email/emergency) information. It is the parent/adult’s responsibility to check their texts and email for any changes. IT IS VITAL for every family to have a current and working email address (that you check often) on file for your dancer.

Make Up Classes: We do not prorate for holidays, holiday breaks, spring breaks, vacations, etc. If you miss a class for any reason, everyone is welcome to complete a makeup in another non FDP Company class.

Class Rates & Size: Classes rates are based on a minimum required enrollment. If a class falls below this requirement, we reserve the right to cancel class. If the class has reached its capacity, a waiting list will begin. It is the parent’s responsibility to notify the studio if the child wishes to drop out of the class. Then, the students on the waiting list will be able to start the class.

Class Placement: Classes are based on both age and ability. During the year, students may be transferred to another class if necessary and in the best interest of the student. Many factors are considered in determining placement. We place students into levels based on ability, attitude, consistency in work, musicality, and physical and emotional readiness. It is the teacher’s discretion of where a student is placed, not the parent.

Lobby Etiquette: Observing your child’s class is a privilege. We think it is important for parents to see their child’s work in progress. Please try not to distract your child or the class. Do not allow conversations in the lobby to get too loud or on a negative topic. Also, please do not allow siblings to knock on the windows or doors. If it is necessary for you to bring a young child/children with you in the lobby while waiting for your child, you must keep your child with you at all times. Please remember that another class is waiting to start immediately after class ends. If you need to schedule a conference with a teacher, call Melissa to arrange a time for both you and the teacher.

Do not leave valuables unattended. Fusion Dance Project cannot be held responsible for any loss of property. Adult students, or parents of minor students, waive the right to any legal action for any injury sustained on studio property resulting from normal dance activity or any other activity conducted by the students before, during, or after class.

Substitute Teachers: We reserve the right to provide a substitute teacher if the regularly scheduled teacher is ill or has an ill child.

Tuition: It is the parent or adult’s responsibility to contact the studio and complete the proper paperwork, such as registration/liability form and to add/drop a class. Tuition is due the 1st of every month. After the 10th of the month, there is a late fee of $25. If your child is dropping the class for any reason, you must notify the studio. If you notify the studio after the 10th of the month, you will be charged a full month’s tuition.
